Beautiful First Time Mother ~ Ottawa Maternity Photography

Last weekend, the most relaxed and beautiful parents came all the way from Montreal to see me. Well OK, they were visiting family, but did take some time out on Sunday for a maternity session at my place and I'm so glad they did!! Due in only 3 weeks, Mom looks amazing and ready to meet her new little girl, as am I. Here are a few favourites from the session:

I just love the glow of a new mom. The anticipation, the curiosity of the little person they are carrying, and the natural glow of pregnancy! This new Mom possessed all these characteristics! "J" was naturally a little uncomfortable at times, totally expected during the last 3 weeks, but such a trooper! I want to wish her all the luck over the next week or two, and I'm very much looking forward to meeting her little princess!

I also wanted to thank Melody for joining us and doing J's make-up just prior to the session! You are amazing!

Official Opening and Celebration Deal!

Even though I've been working and doing shoots over the past 5 months, I never had an official Grand Opening for Christine Denis Photography! I decided to wait until I had my baby in August and since September tends to be a time of fresh starts and renewal, September was to be the official opening of my business. I'm so excited to get started on this venture and wanted to thank all of my friends and family for all the support they've given me over the past few months. I especially wanted to thank all of my little models and their families for volunteering their time and smiles to helping me build my portfolio that you see today!

Now what better way to celebrate than to have a grand opening special! This is a big one, so it will only be on for a couple of weeks ~ September 14th to September 30th to be specific.

Maternity Shoot 8 months ~ Ottawa Maternity Photographer

I had the pleasure of squeezing in one more shoot before my official due date (tomorrow!!). My model was the beautiful Jem, who was a super model and had the perfect little bump to show off! Here is a quick preview of a few of my favourites.

Taking a break... ~ Chelsea Children's Photographer

As my due date for baby #3 quickly approaches, I'll be taking a break from shooting over the next few weeks. I am still in the office checking my e-mail, however, so please feel free to contact me for information on booking a shoot.

Note: I still have 3 openings for my beautiful preschooler call-out! My plan is do conduct the sessions in the fall, when the leaves are changing, here in the Gatineau Park - a wonderful opportunity (and deal!) for getting those Christmas photos done!

Timeless Maternity ~ Ottawa Maternity Photographer

Even though Mom claimed that she was not feeling very beautiful during this pregnancy, I thought she was, as did her partner. They were so cute together and with their little 18 month old made a beautiful little family soon to become a little bigger! Thanks so much for coming up to our place and posing for me! We'll do it again in a few weeks when baby #2 arrives!
